Quick and easy rituals for more energy
Would you be willing to comply with these little rituals to keep you in shape every day?
In the morning:
1- Cardiac coherence: inhale 5 seconds and exhale 5 seconds for 3 minutes. Immediate effect: decrease in cortisol for better management of future stress, increased production of DHEA (the youth hormone) and oxytocin (the hormone of attachment and love), with a visible effect on the radiance of the complexion.
2- A shot of grass juice and its highly regenerative power, hyper-rich in antioxidants, vitamins and chlorophyll. In the morning, on an empty stomach, dilute 2 teaspoons in a large glass of water at room temperature and drink in one go. It purifies the blood, improves skin quality and reduces dark circles under the eyes.
3- Dry brushing of the face and body. This improves circulation and detoxification (elimination of metabolic waste), which results in toned and glowing skin. It also provides an extra boost of energy for a good start to the day.
4- A massage with sesame oil. This should be done after dry brushing, but before showering, to increase energy. You can also opt for ozonated olive oil (in case of skin problems) or coconut oil (to firm the tissues).
5- Scraping the tongue. First, do a mouthwash with organic sesame oil (for 5 minutes, under the shower, for example) and then rinse with clean water. Do not swallow, as the oil contains all the toxins released during the night. Finally, scrape the tongue with a tongue scraper. The result: increased digestive comfort, strengthened immunity and a visible increase in energy.
In the evening:
1- Rest your eyes. Rub your hands together and place them over your eyes, crossing your fingertips between your eyebrows. This simple gesture rests the retina and the optic nerve linked to the central nervous system, deeply relaxing the mind. It also reactivates the lymphatic circulation around the eyes, thus reducing dark circles and bags under the eyes the following morning.
2- Practice alternate breathing. Breathe in slowly through one nostril, blocking the other, and breathe out through the other nostril, blocking the first. This practice, widely used in yoga, reduces stress and anxiety and allows you to manage your emotions better. It also increases the oxygenation of the body and strengthens the immune system.
3- Soak your feet in a bowl of hot water. For a relaxing effect, add 5 drops of lavender or marjoram essential oils. For a detoxifying effect, add 2 teaspoons of fine clay. For a purifying effect, add a handful of coarse salt. After 3 minutes, the mind is freed from its intellectual overload and the solar plexus expands. The increased secretion of serotonin will help you sleep better.
4- Drink a large glass of floral water. In a hot version, as a herbal tea. Rose, which is the flower of the moment, calms the nervous and hormonal system. Orange blossom calms the emotions and mental agitation of the day, and helichrysum soothes the mood in case of shock or sadness.
5- Massage your stomach with lavender. Put a few drops of lavender essential oil in the palm of your left hand and massage your stomach clockwise for 1 to 3 minutes. This induces better digestion, both organically and psychically, allows easier evacuation of what remains in the stomach and promotes emotional release.
